Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Thrive Carolina Mobile Notary and Apostille Services website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Services Description
Thrive Carolina Mobile Notary and Apostille Services provides mobile notary public services, apostille processing, loan signing agent services, and related document authentication services throughout North Carolina. Our services are subject to availability and applicable state laws.
Notary Services
Our notary services are performed by commissioned North Carolina notary publics in accordance with NC General Statutes Chapter 10B. Key terms:
- All signers must be present with valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification
- Documents must be unsigned at the time of the notary appointment — signers must sign in the notary's presence
- The notary may refuse to notarize a document if they have reason to believe the signer is not acting willingly, is not competent, or if the document is incomplete
- Notarization fees are regulated by the State of North Carolina
Apostille Processing
Apostille services involve submitting documents to the North Carolina Secretary of State for authentication. Processing times are estimates and are subject to the Secretary of State's current workload. We are not responsible for delays caused by government agencies.
Scheduling and Cancellation
Appointments should be scheduled in advance. We make every effort to accommodate same-day requests when availability allows. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible. Travel fees may apply for cancellations made after the notary has departed for your location.
Fees and Payment
Fees for our services include notarization fees (as regulated by NC law), travel fees, and any applicable service-specific charges. A fee quote will be provided before your appointment. Payment is due upon completion of services.
Limitation of Liability
Thrive Carolina Mobile Notary and Apostille Services carries Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance for your protection. However, our liability is limited to the scope of notary services provided. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. We cannot guarantee the legal effect or enforceability of any document we notarize.
